This guide was written by forum member, Brian B.  It is an excellent step-by-step carb rebuild guide with photos.  The PD46A carbs were used on the 1977 and 1978 CB550′s.

Moto Hangar customs

Moto Hangar is a shop located in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC. Here are some examples of their SOHC/4 customs.


This is a 1976 Honda Cb750 built for a customer. Modifications include, suzuki trials headlight with h4 bulb, mini mesh tach cover, kawasaki kz tail, jet black paint, low profile leather seat and leather tank strap. Ceramic header wrap, super trapp exhaust. Powder coated wheels wrapped in firestone tires.    You can find more on this build along with a gallery of detailed photos, here.

This next example is 1978 Honda CB550 featuring a custom cafe tail section with integrated tail light and closed cell foam seat pad, updated suspension and custom clipons. Yellow tint added to headlight for that vintage feel. Bike has been raised in the rear 1 inch and lowered in the front. 4 into 1 headers and Supertrapp muffler.
